Job Description
As an Apprentice, you will become part of an experienced team from day one. You will gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of childcare and education, supporting you in achieving your qualification to a high standard. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in care, planning and assessment, safeguarding, Prevent, SEND, EYFS, and Equality and Diversity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
1. Actively participate in daily nursery activities, assisting with age-appropriate learning experiences for children.
2. Help create and maintain a positive and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
3. Work under the guidance of senior staff members to develop your knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
4. Engage in all aspects of nursery life, including play, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities.
5. Maintain a professional attitude by respecting and adhering to confidentiality agreements, especially regarding sensitive information about children and families.
6. Understand and follow nursery policies and procedures, particularly around safeguarding and child protection.
7. Respect the individual needs, preferences, and learning styles of every child.

Training

Learners are supported through a blended approach, with a dedicated Personal Tutor providing regular check-ins via email and calls. Your employer will allocate 20% of your working hours towards your studies, maximizing your chances of achieving the highest grade possible. Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will have gained an Early Years Educator – L3 qualification.
