Secondment/Fixed term opportunity until November 2026 to improve service delivery.

*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

An exciting opportunity has arisen on a fixed term up to November 2026 to join the Acute Physiotherapy team as a Band 6 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist within the Critical Care and Surgical Team.

We would welcome applications from physiotherapists who have a drive to develop their skills within this clinical specialism, improve services, support staff wellbeing and have a strong collaborative approach to care.

Previous experience in a wide range of clinical areas with specific experience in Critical Care and Surgical is welcomed.

This post is key in supporting on-call induction and supporting education and development of Band 5 and support staff within the teams.

The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist and will be mobile across Forth Valley.

The post carries an on-call commitment. NHS Forth Valley is also embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
