An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Carer to work in an exceptional care home based in Hastings, East Sussex. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
As the Senior Carer, your key duties include:
* Helping ensure that all care, domestic, and kitchen staff contribute to the efficient running of the home and a positive atmosphere.
* Assisting residents with their personal care needs.
* Answering call bells, emergency bells, the door, and the telephone; greeting visitors.
* Ensuring the healthcare needs of residents are met by liaising with GPs, district nurses, chiropodists, etc.
* Assisting in the care of residents who are unwell or dying.
* Promoting mental and physical activities for residents through the key worker system, including talking to them, taking them out, and sharing activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreation.
* Helping with the completion of Care Plans for residents, new residents, and participating in resident reviews.
Preferred skills and experience:
* An understanding of residents' needs.
* Proven ability and experience in the safe administration of medication.
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
* Experience in providing care.
* Ability to provide personal care in a dignified manner and train others in care duties.
* A genuine desire to work in the care sector.
* A flexible approach to work, open to new challenges.

The successful Senior Carer will receive an excellent salary of up to GBP 14.49 per hour, with an annual salary of up to GBP 27,125.28. This is a permanent full-time role for 36 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work, you will receive:
