If so, this exciting new role could be for you. Our client is a manufacturer, installer and servicer of industrial machinery used across the UK. They are looking for an Electrical Field Service engineer to join their small team and assist with installation, inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and commissioning of equipment in the south-west of the UK.
Your role responsibilities:
* You will optimise the performance of new installation equipment and existing assets
* You will undertake final testing and commissioning of installations
* You will undertake service work on equipment and any related controls
* You will carry out site visits to undertake inspections on products
* Electrical trouble shooting and fault finding.
* You will provide technical support to customers and other departments
* Obtain information for any potential site work or future customer requirements.
* You will assist in the continual growth of the team by proactively seeking to support the client
Requirements
* NVQ level 3 Engineering (or equivalent)
* Knowledge of three-phase low voltage motor control panels
* You have a basic understanding / working knowledge of PLC’s.
* Being able to find faults from electrical schematics.
* 18th edition (desirable)
* Experience of multifunction relays and PLC’s.
* You have good IT skills
* A clean driving license (Vital)
Core Hours : Monday to Friday - Days (7am – 3pm) + Overtime
Salary ranges between £41,000 - £46,000 depending on experience
* 23 days holiday
* 4 % employer pension, employee contribution is 4%, we increase our contribution after 5 years to 6%
* Company discretionary bonus: 10 % of the company’s profit before tax is annually shared amongst all employees
* Sick Bonus: £50 a quarter
* Private Medical Insurance (AXA) on completion of the probationary period
