Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated, well-organized, and methodical Clinical Trial Administrator to join the Haemato-Oncology department based in Sutton. The primary responsibility is to assist with the retrieval, review, and entry of clinical trial patient data, and to design and implement tools for data capture, especially for early phase or complex trials. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical and nursing staff, engaging in a variety of clinical trials.
The ideal candidate should be flexible, able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication, administrative, and IT skills, and be receptive to new initiatives. Main Duties:
1. Support research teams with study administration to ensure effective trial delivery following GCP, SOPs, and regulations.
2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into trial databases across research locations.
3. Assist Research Nurses with data queries.
4. Support daily trial activities and workload management.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with external agencies and communicate with trial sponsors regarding data and trial queries.
* Act as a liaison for trial activities, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Person Specification:
Qualifications: GCSE/A level, understanding of medical terminology, knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines.
Experience: Database management, NHS or oncology trial experience preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent.
