Job Introduction We're looking for an enthusiastic Café Supervisor to join our dedicated catering team at Nation Railway Museum. As a Café Supervisor, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service. The successful Café Supervisor will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with basic food production & preparation, customer service and generally supporting the operations while adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times Being a responsible key holder Basic food preparation, counter set up and serving of food and beverages Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to clients and customers Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations Ensuring correct storage of food items and equipment after service Complying with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards Our ideal Café Supervisor will be: Experienced in supervising frontline teams within a similar environment A good communicator, able to confidently liaise with customers and colleagues Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
