What to Expect

* You’ll be a part of the Selfridges Christmas Magic and join our teams at our busiest time of year.
* You will be required to work weekends and be available for at least 3 of the following key dates: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Years Day.

As a Seasonal Sales Associate You Will

* Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience by building rapport, sharing product knowledge and catering to customer needs.
* Conduct sales, refunds and exchanges, helping the customer find another suitable item/product if necessary or alternatively, offer our online services.
* From selling and replenishing stock, organising rails, to hosting, you will maintain the highest retail standards.
* Be open to customer feedback, and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales and retail standards in your area.
* Manage and oversee the stock in your department, including unpacking deliveries (new and replenished lines), completing audits and maintaining the stock room.
* Adapt to day-to-day challenges. This is a flexible role; you may be required to work across different departments, taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you.
* Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of trends by expanding your knowledge of products and competitors.
* Follow health, safety and security procedures, and play an active role in preventing stock loss.
* Support is available at every stage of the interview process should you need it.

* Great communicator who can positively engage with all types of customers with varying needs and requirements.
* Well informed with excellent product knowledge by following trends and supplier training.
* Sales and service expert who delivers extraordinary service and takes initiative to provide additional services where appropriate.
* Replenish stock, maintain Selfridges standards and inspire others to deliver the same.
* Problem-solving skills and adaptability to resolve customer issues.
* Flexible and willing to take ownership of tasks beyond role expectations.
* Reliable and respected colleague who embodies our values.
