Senior Transport Planner - S/38 Highways Scheme Design
A market-leading consultancy providing comprehensive development transport planning services across the UK is seeking a Senior Transport Planner specialising in S/38 highways scheme design, drainage, environmental planning, implementation, and operation.
Operating hours: Monday to Friday (Office based)
Salary: £48,000 to £60,000
Main Duties:
* Prepare detailed Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
* Develop Travel Plans and coordinate their implementation.
* Create and present technical data and drawings.
* Conduct junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as needed.
* Attend meetings and public consultation events.
* Manage small to medium-sized projects.
* Provide guidance and support to junior staff.
* Take ownership of other traffic/transport-related tasks as assigned by your Team Leader.
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
