What you will do
* Build and scale a network of commercial partnerships for a new retail media product, with a strong focus on the UK and US markets.
* Acquire early clients, generate revenue, and help shape the product and business strategy.
* Identify, initiate, and develop strategic partnerships with retailers and their retail media networks, retail and DTC brands, media and performance agencies, and retail media ecosystem platforms (e.g., martech, adtech, CDPs).
* Co-develop the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the CCO and product team.
* Support the creation of sales and partnership materials including pitch decks, proposals, and pricing models.
* Lead the full sales and partnership cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
* Test and refine commercial models (e.g., CPC, tenancy, revenue share, SaaS).
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and product demos.
About you
* Have a passion for retail media.
* Bring demonstrable experience in strategic business development, partnerships, or B2B sales within retail and/or retail media.
* Enjoy a fast-paced environment and have experience working with clients or partners in the UK or US markets.
* Be curious, research-oriented, and able to ask questions; be results- and target-driven.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Be a creative thinker with a proactive mindset ("how can we...").
* Show a strong desire to succeed and make a difference.
Experience and skills that will help you succeed
* Excellent relationship-building and deal-closing capabilities.
* Existing contacts within retail media teams (e.g., Walmart, Tesco Media, Sainsbury's, Boots Media, Target Roundel).
* Familiar with European or US retail media landscapes.
