We're seeking an enthusiastic PR Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of public relations while supporting our experienced account teams in delivering outstanding results for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
The successful candidate will possess bags of enthusiasm and the emotional intelligence that's become a hallmark of LLPR's work. You’ll have a genuine interest in communications across a broad variety of channels, including print, digital, social, and podcasts. After a qualifying period, you will be able to take advantage of hybrid working, based in our beachside offices in Poole for 50% of your time with core office days as Tuesday and Wednesday.
Administrative Support:
Maintain up-to-date contact databases and media lists
Support with event planning and coordination
Research & Content Support:
Assist with content creation including social media posts, video, imagery, newsletters, and press materials
Help maintain client social media accounts under supervision
Support digital SEO and content marketing activities
Client Support:
Provide administrative support for client accounts
Help coordinate stakeholder engagement activities
Assist with media monitoring and analysis
Support press office functions including answering media enquiries
Help maintain relationships with local and regional media contacts
Professional Development:
Participate in training programmes and professional development opportunities
Attend networking events and industry functions
A-Levels or equivalent qualification (minimum Grade C/4 in English Language)
Up-to-date understanding of social media platforms and content creation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Personal Qualities:
Genuine enthusiasm for public relations and communications
Professional telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
Previous experience in customer service, administration, or similar role
Basic knowledge of PR principles and media landscape
Evidenced experience in the creation of video, stills, and/or podcasts
Experience with content management systems or social media scheduling tools
