Your new role
As a Recruitment Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting end-to-end recruitment activity across a diverse portfolio of roles. Acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers, you’ll provide expert advice on attraction strategies,pliance and best practice recruitment, ensuring a smooth and timely candidate experience.Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
2. Using the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage vacancies, candidate workflows and reporting
3. Supporting or maintaining recruitment data within Oracle, ensuring accuracy andpliance
4. Advising hiring managers on selection methods, shortlisting and interview best practice
5. Coordinating advertising, screening and interview processes
6. Ensuringpliance with safer recruitment, equality and data protection legislation
7. Contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and systems
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally demonstrate:
8. Experience working in a Recruitment Advisor / Recruitment Officer role, preferably within a Local Authority or public sector environment
9. Practical experience using an Applicant Tracking System, with Eploy experience highly desirable
10. Working knowledge or experience of Oracle HR or recruitment systems
11. Strong understanding of safer recruitment principles and employment legislation
12. Excellentmunication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
13. Experience supporting or recruiting into social work or social care roles would be a strong advantage, particularly an understanding of statutory andpliance-driven recruitment.
