ASSEMBLY FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!
Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Assembly Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
Working Hours:
The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week). The starting hourly pay rate is A£12.50 per hour (annual salary just under A£30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period.
Qualifications:
The hiring manager would like someone who has both mechanical and electrical assembly experience, with previous experience with 12V electrical systems preferred.
This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as:
* Mechanical Assembler
* Mechanical Fitter
* Electrical Fitter
* Vehicle Fitter
* Vehicle Technician
What You Will Do:
1. Measure, cut down and install components into vehicles, ensuring precision and quality.
2. Interpret and work from technical drawings to meet specifications and standards.
3. Utilise hand and power tools daily, including spanners and drills, to perform tasks effectively.
4. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
5. Complete supporting paperwork, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
What You Will Bring:
1. Proven experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating your ability to thrive in this sector.
2. Previous electrical and mechanical assembly experience, ideally with experience with 12V electrical systems.
3. Proficiency with using hand and power tools, showcasing your technical skills.
4. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, ensuring precision in your work.
5. A passion for working with vehicles, whether through previous work experience or personal interest.
