Salary: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term position with consistent daytime hours and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently within a manufacturing setting
* Loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods
* Supplying production lines with materials as required
* Moving stock between warehouse and production areas
* Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any defects
* Supporting general warehouse and production duties when needed
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR accredited)
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
* Good awareness of health and safety practices
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Flexible and proactive approach to work
