Our client, a well-established fit-out contractor based in Co. Antrim is seeking a Buyer to join their team. Operating across a wide range of retail, commercial & leisure projects, they have built an excellent reputation within the construction market. An office based role, duties will include the following: Source and procure construction materials, equipment, Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms Forecast material needs in collaboration with site and project managers Monitor deliveries, stock levels, and supplier performance Maintain procurement documentation and accurate records Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with project requirements Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure smooth site support Buyer - Requirements Proven experience in a buying or procurement role (construction sector preferred) Excellent negotiation, organisational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded and growing contractor, playing a key role in the commercial success of varied and exciting projects.
