We are working with an esteemed international law firm who are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their Corporate Tax practice within their Birmingham office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a well-regarded Tax department, working on a diverse range of corporate tax matters, including indirect tax, investment funds, and real estate. The candidate will advise on the tax aspects of corporate reorganisation, international transactions, domestic and cross-border M&A, and employee incentivisation.
The candidate will also undertake senior-level responsibilities, including delegating duties to and managing junior team members. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 5+ PQE;
* Strong background in corporate tax law and cross-border M&A;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
