You will be the primary point of contact for relationships with global tax advisors, ensuring the effective implementation of the Group’s transfer pricing policies and tax risk management strategies. This role is essential for supporting our business initiatives, particularly during mergers and restructuring, while continuously assessing the impact of changing tax legislation. We are seeking a Group Tax Manager to join our dynamic business. This pivotal role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities across UK and international direct and indirect taxes. You will work closely with the Head of Tax and other departments within the organisation to ensure compliance with tax regulations, optimise the Group’s tax profile, and contribute to our overall tax strategy. Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the income tax compliance and reporting processes for the Group to ensure timely and accurate submissions.- Serve as the principal contact and lead for relationships with tax advisors across various jurisdictions.- Prepare UK Corporation Tax returns in-house, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.- Prepare and review various direct and indirect tax filings for countries including the US, UK, Europe, Malaysia, and ANZ.- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to maintain compliance with local and international tax regulations and reporting standards.- Assist in the preparation of the Group\\\\\\\'s tax provisions, including tax consolidations.- Contribute to the design, implementation, and review of the Group’s transfer pricing policies.- Monitor changes in tax legislation globally, assessing their implications for the Group.- Provide expert guidance and advice on tax-related matters during mergers, restructuring, and other significant business initiatives.Skills and Experience:- Qualified accountant and/or tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA). Tax qualification is preferred.- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in tax compliance, advisory, and reporting.- Exceptional analytical skills, with the capability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.- A strong desire to expand expertise across a variety of domestic and international tax matters.- A proven ability to establish collaborative relationships with tax advisors and colleagues across the organisation.
