Primary Teaching Assistant Bourn £90 - £95 a day Randstad Education is seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis within our partnership schools in Bourn and the surrounding villages. This position involves supporting various schools on a day to day basis. You will play a key role in assisting teachers in the classroom, working with small groups, and providing 1:1 support to pupils as needed. Key Responsibilities: Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Work with small groups of students to enhance their learning and understanding. Provide 1:1 support to pupils with specific learning needs, including SEN. Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment. Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources. Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student progress. Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting. A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one) Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently. A patient, caring, and supportive attitude towards working with children. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
