Job Title: Network Support Engineer Location: Birmingham, UK (Hybrid)
Are you a skilled Network Support Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge networking technologies and contribute to the stability and security of our IT infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with strong problem-solving skills.
Provide support for VLANs, static routing, and dynamic routing protocols including OSPF and EIGRP.
Configure and maintain Spanning-tree Protocol to ensure network reliability.
Set up and manage site-to-site VPN configurations for secure communication.
Implement and maintain Access Control List (ACL) rules to enhance network security.
Administer and optimise DHCP and DNS services for efficient network operations.
Work with SD-WAN solutions to improve network performance and security.
Support switch infrastructure, with experience in Meraki, HP Aruba, and Zyxel being beneficial.
Proven experience in network infrastructure engineering.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and configurations.
Hands-on experience with VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and Spanning-tree Protocol.
Knowledge of firewall and network security best practices.
