This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1–6 PQE) to join a specialist team based in Salford.
The firm is known for taking a holistic approach to client care, focusing not just on compensation but also on securing early access to rehabilitation for clients who have experienced life-changing injuries. You’ll work on a varied and meaningful caseload including complex clinical negligence matters.
This role would suit a solicitor looking to take the next step in their career and take ownership of high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative team.
Who we’re looking for
4. Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 1–6 years PQE
5. Strong experience managing clinical negligence or personal injury cases
6. Ability to manage a caseload independently with appropriate support
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
8. Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
10. Empathetic approach when working with clients
11. Understanding of GDPR and Anti-Money Laundering requirements
12. Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
13. Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction to resolution
14. Working on complex and high-value matters including brain injury, spinal injury and fatal cases
15. Reviewing medical records and evaluating liability
16. Preparing schedules of loss and estimating claim values
17. Negotiating with defendants and third parties
18. Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
19. Providing clear and compassionate updates to clients throughout their case
20. Participating in conferences, training and internal team meetings
21. Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development
22. Taking part in networking and fundraising initiatives for the firm’s partner charities
