AS A SHIFT MANAGER, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
* Leading from the front and being hands‑on, working on the line and in the dining area
* Supporting the General Manager in the delivery of perfect burgers and fries while providing an above & beyond experience for your team and customers
* Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our values – Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, and Integrity
* Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience – you will deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way
* Ensuring that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of your shift management
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
* Experience: Ideally at least 1 year of management experience in a similar role within a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment. You know what it takes to run a busy shift and keep the energy high.
* Customer Satisfaction: Obsessed with the guest experience, with a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews.
* Financial Responsibility: Understanding the basics of running a profitable shift, managing crew breaks, minimising food waste, and deploying the team effectively during the rush.
* Leadership Skills: Natural motivator who enjoys being hands‑on, leads by example and can get the best out of the crew during a busy service.
* Operational Excellence: Good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards and ability to enforce them on the line.
* Flexibility: Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
