We are looking for a Team Manager to join our Children with Disabilities Service
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 1 year's management experience
About the team
The team handles various referrals, making informed decisions on whether a child needs our service or can use mainstream services. They are responsible for creating plans for Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children, ensuring the child's needs are met by everyone involved. The team also conducts regular visits to children and their families to ensure appropriate provisions are in place and effective communication is maintained.
This role involves providing advice and skills in the daily management of the team, supervising social workers and unqualified staff, and reporting to senior management on performance. Collaboration with connected services is essential for achieving the best outcomes for each case.
About you
Experience working within a fast-paced Frontline team such as Child Protection and Referral & Assessment is essential. You must hold a degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and have at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience.
You need to be registered with Social Work England and have access to your own vehicle.
