Roaming Maintenance Person – Painting & Decorating
At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a Roaming Maintenance Person with extensive painting and decorating experience, including wallpapering, to join our team on a full-time 40hours/week, permanent contract.
This role is 95% painting and decorating, travelling between our care homes across East Anglia to ensure they are maintained to a high decorative standard. The role will be based from Norwich, where mileage will be calculated from.
Important: The successful candidate must have their own car for travel. Mileage will be reimbursed.
We will not accept any applicant who cannot clearly demonstrate professional painting and wallpapering experience. General maintenance experience alone is not sufficient.

Purpose of Position:
To take responsibility for carrying out painting, decorating, and wallpapering to a high standard across multiple homes, creating safe, comfortable, and attractive environments for our residents.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Undertake all painting, decorating and wallpapering tasks to a professional standard.
* Travel between all homes across East Anglia using your own car – mileage is claimable.
* Work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or overtime work required to complete projects.
* Working hours will be discussed at interview, but this is a day shift role.
* Ensure all tools, equipment and materials are used safely and stored appropriately.
* Prepare and undertake short- and long-term decorative maintenance work in consultation with Managers.
* Report to the Maintenance Manager regarding ongoing decoration requirements across the group.
* Read, understand and adhere to all company policies.
