Overview
National Grid is hiring a Digital Product Manager based in Warwick (with flexible hybrid working). The role manages digital product squads, aligning with the Digital Twin Strategy and optimises the Electricity Network Design for England and Wales.
Responsibilities
* Manage funding and sanction processes to enable delivery of digital products.
* Communicate and build strong collaborative relationships with senior management, influencing decisions for mutual benefit.
* Drive and communicate a digital roadmap for the product line, implementing systems such as team structures and ways of working.
* Understand business needs, research markets, and introduce or build market‑leading digital products.
* Ensure adoption and value realisation of digital products through customer‑centric design and value analysis.
* Ensure team members build professional, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
* Develop a well‑balanced, cross‑functional team, providing learning opportunities and support.
* Act as the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution within the field.
* Plan and lead scoping and priority‑setting activities.
* Build on enduring digital product capability to enable continuous improvement and align with the digital twin strategy.
Qualifications
* Experience managing full product life cycles (inception to retirement).
* Financial management skills, supporting effective use and control of financial resources.
* Stakeholder and relationship management, influencing attitudes and decisions.
* Organisational change management experience, planning and implementing transitions.
* Proficiency with methods and tools, ensuring adoption and effective use.
