At Sing Education, we’re seeking a passionate musician with a degree in music or a related field who is eager to share the transformative power of music with the next generation.
Responsibilities
* Weekly teaching, full school day – 8.45am to 3.30/4.30pm, term time
* Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
* Teach from 1 to 5 days per week
* Deliver singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons – Nursery to Year 6 using Sing Education resources
* Lead singing assemblies
* Support choirs, lunchtime and after-school clubs
Qualifications
* University graduate with a degree in music or a related field
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies
* Excellent command of spoken and written English
* Ability to conduct whole-class music lessons
* Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use
* Understanding of the National Curriculum for music
* Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite
Experience
* Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction
* Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role

* Ability to collaborate with Sing Education and school teams

Benefits
* Full-time salary per annum: £22,379 – £29,288 (for 5 days per week), on a 5-point pay scale
* Progression along the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful supervision meeting
* No PGCE or QTS required
* 38 weeks per year with paid training, 7–40 hours per week
