The Vacancy

We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to join our award‑winning, forward‑thinking L&D team. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll work in true partnership with inspiring leaders across the business, shaping and delivering learning solutions that drive growth, performance, and engagement.

You’ll have real autonomy and influence to design and deliver learning interventions that respond to the needs of a growing, evolving organisation. As a trusted adviser, you’ll take the time to deeply understand the business, its challenges, and its ambitions — ensuring learning adds genuine value and makes a measurable difference.

If you’re passionate about modern learning, coaching, and creating inclusive, engaging development experiences, this is a role where your ideas and expertise will thrive.

What will your role look like?

1. Build strong, trusted partnerships with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, challenges, and capability needs
2. Lead and deliver key elements of the L&D strategy, taking ownership of a portfolio of impactful learning projects
3. Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programmes across a range of topics, both in‑person and virtually
4. Provide high‑quality individual and team coaching to support development and performance
5. Create strong networks across the firm, ensuring learning feels accessible, inclusive, and relevant to all colleagues
6. Stay at the forefront of best practice by drawing on thought leadership from learning, psychology, leadership, and HR disciplines

Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:

7. A proven track record of designing and delivering impactful learning interventions, both virtual and face‑to‑face
8. Strong facilitation skills and confidence working with groups at all levels
9. Coaching experience and/or a coaching qualification (desirable)
10. Experience using psychometric tools to build self‑awareness and support development at individual and group level
11. A solid understanding of people development frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to apply them practically
12. Curiosity and commitment to staying up to date with developments in psychology, leadership, and digital learning

To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:

13. Thinking strategically, while also designing targeted, innovative learning solutions
14. Demonstrating genuine care for colleagues and contributing to a positive culture
15. Building meaningful relationships and using emotional intelligence to influence and support others
16. Managing multiple projects and priorities, while focusing on outcomes and impact
17. Freedom to work both autonomously and collaborating with a supportive team to deliver shared objectives

*Please note that as part of the recruitment process for this opportunity, candidates will be expected to complete a task during the interview stages.

We would also encourage applications from candidates who perhaps do not possess all the attributes and experience listed above but are competent with the majority and would be able to quickly develop the additional skills and experience required in post with our full support. We would also love to hear about other knowledge and experience you may have that is not listed but could be of interest.

In addition to a competitive salary and access to our profit share scheme, we offer:

18. A flexible selection of employee benefits, so you can choose a package that best matches your lifestyle and needs.
19. A collaborative and encouraging work environment where your thinking and ideas are encouraged.
20. On site mental health and wellbeing assistance.
21. A commitment to helping you develop both personally and professionally, with mentoring opportunities and access to our award-winning learning portal, Aspire.
22. Regular social activities, in addition to three days paid volunteering leave each year and a day’s leave to celebrate your birthday.
23. Hybrid working so you can enjoy the positive wellbeing of working from home as well as the benefits of meeting colleagues in our sociable, modern office environments – with the expectation of two ‘in-office’ days per week.
24. A flexible working window, allowing colleagues the freedom to work flexibly between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
