Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where justice, innovation, and public service intersect? If so, this is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering cutting-edge technological solutions to the UK transport industry.
Your new role
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Prosecutor & Legal Advisor to lead legal efforts in tackling fare evasion and ticketing offences. This is a high-impact role where your legal insight will shape policy, guide prosecutions, and support the integrity of a transport system relied upon by millions every day.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the preparation and conduct of prosecutions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and procedures. Your work will span everything from drafting legal documents and case files to delivering training on criminal evidence, disclosure obligations, and court procedures. You'll also advise on systems and processes for monitoring enforcement activities and play a key role in shaping legal strategy at a senior level.
Court advocacy is a central part of this role, with appearances primarily in the Birmingham and Nottingham areas. To support you, we offer access to a company car, full coverage of public transport expenses, and overnight accommodation when early court start times require it, ensuring you're always prepared and supported.
What you'll get in return
This isn't just a career move, it's a lifestyle upgrade. We offer a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, flexibility, and professional growth:
* Free parking at our Lakeside office for stress-free commuting
* A generous 39 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) to help you recharge
* 8 complimentary gym sessions per month through our Regus partnership to keep you energised
* Full Perkbox membership, giving you access to exclusive discounts, wellness tools, and lifestyle perks
We're looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with experience ideally gained within the Crown Prosecution Service, Serious Fraud Office, or a similar prosecuting authority. You'll bring a strong understanding of criminal law, court procedures, and evidentiary standards, along with excellent advocacy, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in transport, fare enforcement, or regulatory environments is a plus, as is familiarity with digital case management and legal compliance systems.
This is your chance to take your legal career to the next level - where your work has purpose, your voice has influence, and your impact is felt across the nation.
👉 Apply now and be part of a mission that's transforming the future of transport enforcement.
