We’re looking for a driven, results-focused New Business Trade Account Manager to open and grow new trade accounts within the renewable energy sector.
Your primary focus will be winning new business, targeting renewable companies, solar installers, battery specialists and electrical contractors, converting opportunities into long-term, high-value trade accounts.
This is a pure sales role with huge earning potential for someone who thrives on building pipelines, closing deals, and developing strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and win new trade accounts within the renewables sector
* Generate and manage your own pipeline of opportunities
* Close profitable deals and negotiate trading terms
* Develop long-term partnerships with installers and renewable businesses
* Grow account spend through upselling and cross-selling
* Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing account management
What We’re Looking For (Summary)
* Proven track record in sales– consistently hitting or exceeding targets
* Confident negotiator with excellent closing skills
* Self-motivated, hungry, and commercially driven
* Excellent relationship-building ability
* Experience in renewables, solar, battery storage or electrical wholesale is advantageous but not essential
* Technical understanding of renewable products is a plus, but we will support the right sales professional

Qualifications
* Proven experience and success in New Business Development and Sales
* Strong skills in Account Management and Relationship Building
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to develop and maintain meaningful client relationships
* Knowledge and passion for the renewable and battery sector is highly desirable
* Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in an on-site team environment
* A background in business, sales, or related fields is advantageous
* Valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
