Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Cheadle Hulme for a supply teaching position. As a supply teacher, you’ll have the chance to focus on teaching without the additional responsibilities of planning long-term schemes or attending extensive meetings. You’ll still play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and maintaining high standards in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 following provided plans.
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
* Assess and support student progress during your placement.
* Adapt to different school settings with professionalism and flexibility.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Science.
* Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
* Ability to quickly build rapport and manage classrooms effectively.
