Role Summary
We are recruiting a Band 7 Mental Capacity Act Team Lead (MCA) across Royal Devon. The successful applicant will act as the designated Trust-wide Lead for the Mental Capacity Act 5 in Royal Devon. We invite applications from Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, or those with a social work background.
The role aims to improve and maintain compliance with the MCA. You should have extensive knowledge and experience of using the Mental Capacity Act. You will work closely with clinicians and managers, providing remote and face-to-face training, and devising resources to meet the demands of LPS and MCA challenges.

You will advise on MCA matters, act as a contact for Court of Protection cases, collaborate with hospital and community services, develop and deliver training, and analyze Trust compliance with MCA.
Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, and one other preferred day. Office hours.
