The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, located in the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre, is home to the National Advanced Heart Failure Service, including heart transplants, and is a national elective orthopaedic service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join the cardiothoracic team to support service delivery. The post holder will manage a delegated caseload, working with patients to assess, treat, and discharge within the cardiothoracic services.
The successful candidate will be motivated, driven, and possess excellent communication skills. They will work as part of the rehabilitation team in a busy and often unpredictable environment.
This team provides a seven-day service, and as this is a weekend post with pay enhancement, it is fundamental to the service delivery. Applications for full weekends or individual days will be considered.
