If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic property developmentpany specialising in innovative student amodation and high-rise new builds and conversions.They are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee the conversion of two existing buildings in the heart of Nottingham city centre into modern and vibrant student amodation. These two sites are conveniently located within a stone's throw of each other, offering a unique and manageable project scope.
Your new role
1. Taking full ownership of the project lifecycle from inception topletion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Managing and coordinating all on-site activities, including subcontractors, direct labour, and material deliveries.
4. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.
5. Liaising effectively with architects, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
6. Proactively identifying and resolving any project-related issues or challenges.
7. Monitoring progress against the program and providing regular updates to senior management.
8. Managing project finances, including cost control and forecasting.
9. Ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are in place.
10. Driving a collaborative and positive working environment on site.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally with experience in student amodation conversions or similar projects.
12. A strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
13. Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
14. Exceptionalmunication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
15. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
16. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
17. Relevant industry qualifications (, MCIOB, MSc, BSc)
What you'll get in return
18. Up to £300 per day when working freelance - if you want to go onto the books, apetitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000 per annum,mensurate with your experience.
