Senior Product Manager – Ascend Developer Portal
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Ascend Developer Portal. The successful candidate will report into our Programme Director and play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the Developer Portal’s design, integration, functionality, security and future demand and enhancements. This role is critical to expanding our ecosystem by empowering external professionals to build innovative solutions on the Ascend platform effectively.
You will sit within an overarching Integration programme and collaborate with our engineering teams, managing a matrixed line of 15–20 developers. The role includes building key components to enable the portal’s success, including APIs, SDKs, code samples and debugging tools. This role underpins our “open‑developer” strategy, a high‑impact driver at the heart of our platform growth and is anticipated to unlock additional revenue forecasted at $20–50m.
Qualifications
* Significant experience of product management centred around software development, integrating SaaS solutions, API & SDK design, and functionality.
* Experience collaborating with external partners, ISVs, or developer communities.
* Experience in technical change management, transformation initiatives, and delivery in the context of large‑scale, mission‑critical platforms.
* Knowledge of standard product management methodologies, tools, practices, and change management techniques.
* Strong analytical mindset and ability to think with scalability in mind.
