The role
is a stores based role focused on receiving, storing, picking materials, packing Instruments/spares and arranging courier collections for onward shipment to end users. Ensuring that stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
Duties will include:
1. Receive materials, kits and goods from suppliers and customers, checking paperwork against outstanding orders.
2. Transacting goods into the ERP system
3. Process incorrect / damaged deliveries
4. Use of Counterbalance forklift truck – licence is preferred but not essential. Certificate / training can be offered.
5. Pick and issue production kits
6. Ensure that all items are replenished in a timely manner
7. Ensure that stock adjustment requests are processed
8. Maintain accurate stock through control of all stock movements
9. Undertake weekly inventory stock counts
10. Packing products to ensure safe passage to their domestic or international destinations
11. Schedule and book courier collections
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
12. A full UK driving licence and own transport due to rural workplace location
13. Import and export knowledge / experience
14. Experience of working within a production type of environment / company
