We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant, who will be working with the Associate Director on the financial function of Excool, ensuring all aspects of the financial management processes are operating efficiently, providing timely and accurate financial reports whilst managing and developing the existing finance team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
* Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly Management Accounts to existing deadlines
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations, reviews and adjustments
* Reviewing and approving payment runs
* Assisting with monitoring company cash flow.
* Overseeing the timely submission of VAT Returns and ONS surveys
* Overseeing Fixed Asset Register
* Overseeing the Sales Invoicing and purchase ledger team
* Year End Audit preparation
* Provide insightful information and expectations to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
* Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Person Specification
* Part Qualified / Qualified / QBE
* Strong Manufacturing Experience
* Ability to manage existing team
* Knowledge of SAP Business One beneficial
* Strong attention to detail, be meticulous and efficient
* Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of data privacy standards
* Ability to work with multiple departments and communicate effectively
* Extremely organised, excellent time management and able to remain calm in a pressurised environment.
