Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity
* Strategic Leadership: Help launch and grow the Cardiff office, build local client relationships, and influence the company’s strategy in Wales
* Career Progression: Supported by an experienced leadership team, with the autonomy to make your mark. There is potential to progress to Associate or other leadership roles
* Project Portfolio: Work across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, residential, and specialist projects including laboratories, hotels, and leisure
Key Responsibilities
* Lead mechanical engineering design and delivery, from feasibility through to project close-out
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, M&E contractors, and other stakeholders
* Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
* Contribute to energy performance and sustainability goals, including Part L compliance, dynamic simulation, and BREEAM
* Oversee site inspections, CDM compliance, contract administration, cost control, and scheduling
Essential Skills & Experience
* Chartered Mechanical Engineer or working towards chartership, with strong consultancy experience
* Proven track record delivering projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, labs, and commercial buildings
* Experience in sustainable design, including energy modelling, Part L compliance, and low or zero carbon systems
* Confident in client engagement, project management, and technical leadership
* Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers is desirable
