Overview
Responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to drive organic growth, improve search visibility, and support wider marketing and commercial objectives. This role combines strategic planning, data-driven optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration to increase traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the creation and execution of SEO strategies that deliver measurable results.
* Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimisation.
* Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to apply SEO best practices.
* Monitor and report on SEO performance using analytics tools; identify opportunities for improvement.
* Manage link‑building activities and maintain a healthy backlink profile.
* Oversee and align agency partnerships with strategic goals.
* Stay current with algorithm updates and SEO trends, adapting strategy as needed.
* Educate internal teams on SEO principles and lead SEO audits with actionable insights.
* Coordinate with paid and social teams to align organic and paid initiatives.
* Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
* Expertise in SEO strategy, compliance, and risk awareness.
* Proficient in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz).
* Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and basic HTML/CSS.
Experience
* Proven background in SEO or digital marketing, ideally within a regulated or complex environment.
