Position: Senior Occupational Therapist
Location: South West Locality Office
Salary: £44,257 - £52,373
Hours: 27 per week

Role Responsibilities
We seek a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists and Community Care Assistants in North East Edinburgh. You will work closely with another Senior Occupational Therapist and Senior Social Workers to screen, prioritize, and allocate work effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree/diploma or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the HCPC
* Energetic, imaginative, creative, and resilient
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Experience in community settings and understanding of legal frameworks, including Adult Support and Protection, and statutory responsibilities of the Local Authority
Additional Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership and may require an Overseas Criminal Record Check if applicable. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
