Reporting to
General Manager and/or Deputy Manager OPS Manager and/or Supervisor
Role Purpose
To support store performance by delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational and visual standards across designated areas of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
* Deliver a high standard of customer service.
* Proactively acknowledge customers and provide product guidance when required.
* Process sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently across all payment methods.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and store initiatives.
Store Operations & Merchandising
* Take ownership of one or more store sections, ensuring strong visual presentation standards (folding, replenishment, display maintenance).
* Maintain housekeeping standards on the shop floor and ensure cash desk areas remain clean and organised.
* Support stock replenishment before store opening and throughout the day as required.
* Organise and maintain the stockroom to ensure operational efficiency.
Cash Handling & Compliance
* Follow opening and closing cash desk procedures accurately.
* Produce till reports when required and escalate discrepancies in line with company procedures.
* Comply fully with company security procedures, policies, and Health & Safety regulations.
* Ensure required documentation is understood and completed appropriately.
Team Contribution
* Maintain effective communication with the management team and colleagues.
* Provide support to cashiers and team members when needed.
* Contribute positively to daily store operations and undertake additional tasks as required.
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience in fashion retail and/or customer service preferred but not essential.
* Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
