Hays is supporting a public sector organisation in the recruitment of a skilled Finance Analyst to join their development team on a short‑term contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial analysis experience within housing or local government environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality financial analysis and support to Business Partners
* Prepare monthly Performance Monitor reports, month‑end flash results, and coordinate budgets and forecasts.
* Communicate financial performance clearly, including impacts on future forecasts
* Support a range of business projects, including new scheme development and performance monitoring of existing schemes
* Utilise internal and external data to generate insights that drive improved performance
Essential Experience
* Previous experience within a Housing Association or Local Authority
* Strong understanding of housing development projects
* Ability to produce timely, high‑quality financial insights
* Part‑qualified applicants will be considered
