Job Title: Contentious Employment Associate

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading firm within the insurance sector, recognised for their robust team handling a diverse array of claims against professionals and businesses. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional legal services and fostering a supportive and inclusive culture among their employees.
Responsibilities:
As a Contentious Employment Associate, you will:
* Manage a caseload of EPL claims, representing leading Professional Indemnity Insurers and their clients.
* Provide insightful advice to insurers on policy coverage related to claims.
* Deliver high-quality, timely legal outputs ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and support initiatives.
* Engage in business development activities and client initiatives, enhancing relationships with clients.
* Circa 1-4 years of PQE, with a background in managing EPL claims.
* Strong foundation in litigation; insurance experience is a plus.
* Solid understanding of employment law and tribunal procedures.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to financial hygiene.
* Experience working with professional services firms or large corporates.
* Ability to foster collaborative relationships to enhance client experiences.
* Enthusiasm for team development and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge.
Technologies:
Familiarity with case management systems and legal research tools is advantageous.
