The firm is evolving its Dispute Resolution practice, aiming to develop specialized teams in areas including Commercial Litigation, Property Litigation, Civil Litigation, and Inheritance Disputes. There is significant scope for progression and leadership roles for the right candidate.
About the role
The role involves managing a caseload that includes contract disputes, probate, property, and some professional negligence claims. The focus is on establishing a dedicated Commercial Litigation practice, supporting team development, and collaborating with other dispute resolution teams. Building relationships with the Corporate & Commercial and Insolvency teams is essential. You may also supervise an Associate specializing in Inheritance Disputes, working closely with the Private Client team.

About you
You should be an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer with several years of UK post-qualified experience, capable of managing a varied caseload independently. At least at Associate or Senior Associate level, you should handle complex matters confidently, provide clear advice, and be willing to support the transition towards a specialized practice. Experience in supervising team members and business development is important. You should be a resilient, collaborative, and client-focused professional with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
