Job Title: Commercial Assistant Civil Engineering
Site Location: Heswall, North West
Responsible to: Lead Estimator / Senior Commercial Lead
Purpose of the Role:
To support the commercial and estimating function within a growing civil engineering business, assisting with costings, tender preparation, and general project administration while developing core industry knowledge.
Client Brief:
Serply Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established civil engineering business with decades of industry experience. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload across utilities and infrastructure sectors, they are seeking a Commercial Assistant to work closely with senior leadership and support the delivery of commercial estimates and project documentation.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for Vacancy: Business growth and increased workload following new contract wins
Contract: Temporary (with strong potential for long-term progression)
Hourly Rate: £13.00ph-£14.00ph depending on experience
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Holidays: Statutory entitlement
Facilities: Office-based with occasional site exposure
