Tesco Shift Leader – Days – Tillicoultry Express
Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexible options for 12–16 hours. Availability windows are provided below.
Availability Window
* Mon: 16:00 – 22:00
* Thu: 06:30 – 12:30
* Sat: 15:45 – 22:00
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a fast‑paced retail environment, coordinating the store team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
* Be there for customers, listening and ensuring they leave the store with what they came for.
* Look for ways to improve service, coach colleagues and give feedback to the team.
* Guide and support colleagues in‑store, ensuring a safe workplace.
* Maintain awareness of store performance and assist managers in actions to improve operations.
* Lead from the front and set a great example for everyone.
* Open and close the store, complete duty cover and make decisions that keep everyone safe.
* Act as the go‑to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager, coordinating seasonal and charity events.
* Follow health and safety procedures and ensure colleagues do the same.
* Recognise and celebrate colleagues within the team who are providing great service.

* Ability to take the lead and oversee the store in the absence of a manager.
