Responsibilities
* Provide vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and checks across a range of light vehicles.
* Manage stock, complete reporting, and maintain proactive customer conversations.
* Work to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, with different fixes and new challenges daily.
* Deliver mobile service to customers on driveways, office car parks, and other locations, representing the RAC professionally.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

What You’ll Receive
* A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000.
* Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
* 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
* RAC mobile mechanic role in Service, Maintenance and Repair — you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided.
