We are seeking an experienced Turnaround Manager to support a large nursing home requiring strong leadership, operational oversight, and immediate improvements in care quality and compliance. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in high-pressure environments and has a track record of successfully stabilising underperforming services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership to the nursing home management team.
* Drive rapid improvements in compliance with CQC standards.
* Assess and implement effective care practices to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life for residents.
* Develop and support staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
* Deliver robust action plans to address areas of concern and ensure sustainable improvements.
* Liaise effectively with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, local authorities, residents, and families.
* Ensure smooth transition back to permanent leadership upon successful turnaround.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong background in nursing home or healthcare management (RGN/RMN qualification desirable but not essential).
* Proven success in turnaround roles or stabilising failing services.
* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice in adult social care.
* Excellent people management and leadership skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight timeframes.
* Flexible and resilient with a hands-on approach.
