Full Job Description
Main duties are to look after the service user either accessing the community or sitting in their homes whilst the carer gains a break from their caring role.
Main aims:
* To provide support to unpaid family carers and people with care needs, including emotional support
* To provide personal care (sometimes)
* To carry out domestic tasks
Ideally, we prefer someone with experience of care and who is prepared to deal with vulnerable adults.
Qualifications and training:
* Health and Social Care NVQ level 2 or 3 (not essential; training will be provided if you have not gained any experience in care)
* Driving licence and a car are required
Location: We are looking for Support Workers who live in Chelmsford, Witham, and Maldon.
