We are looking for a Maintenance Operative (Semi Skilled) to join our team at HMP Addiewell.You will deliver a consistent, high-quality service across site, ensuring all work meets company standards, contract requirements, and KPI expectations.
The role requires full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, fire, and COSHH regulations, while actively supporting a positive safety culture and company policies.You will also play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
Complete general maintenance and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient running of the establishment
Carry out all work in line with health and safety regulations and industry best practice
Adhere to tool control and security procedures at all times
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner
Support project work as directed by the Facilities Management team
Participate in a call-out rota where required
Supervise prisoner working parties where applicable
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, compliant, and effective environmentPlease see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirements

Understanding of safety rules

Held a similar role previously or has the skills set required for the position

This role is a9 month fixed term contract
