Role Overview
In this role, you will deliver culturally sensitive counselling and therapy to both international and Chinese-speaking clients. Your work will focus on stress management, resilience building, and preventive mental health, within a supportive and innovative environment that values work-life balance and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions addressing issues such as anxiety, work-life stress, cultural adaptation, and mental health prevention.
* Apply evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, mindfulness) while integrating cultural considerations for Chinese and international clients.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with GDPR, BACP/HCPC standards, and internal protocols.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., physicians, nutritionists) to deliver integrated health solutions and referrals.
* Contribute to wellness initiatives including health screenings, workshops, and online sessions.
* Support community outreach and marketing activities, including bilingual promotions for international clients.
* Engage in ongoing professional development (minimum 20 CPD hours annually).
Requirements
* Recognised UK qualification in psychology or psychotherapy (e.g., BACP/UKCP registration, or HCPC registration as Clinical/Counselling Psychologist – DClinPsy or MSc).
* Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience, ideally in private practice, NHS, or international health settings.
* Overseas qualifications must be HCPC/BPS recognised.
* Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese required).
* Strong knowledge of mental health challenges in both international and Chinese communities, including expatriate stress and cross-cultural issues.
* Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
* Excellent communication, empathy, and cultural competence; professional indemnity insurance required.
* Eligible (or able to obtain) DBS clearance.
Desirable
* Experience in preventive health or wellness programs.
* Previous involvement in international client services or organisations (e.g., Chinese Welfare Trust).
* Openness to equity or performance-based incentives.

任职要求

* 至少 2–3 年临床经验,具备私立、NHS 或国际医疗环境背景者优先;
* 海外学历须经 HCPC/BPS 认可;
* 精通英语及中文(普通话/粤语),可为双语客户提供服务;
* 熟练使用电子记录系统,具备良好的沟通力、同理心与文化敏感度;
* 持有专业赔偿保险,并符合 DBS 背景审查要求。
