Construction Manager

Are you a seasoned construction professional ready to lead from the front? We’re looking for a Construction Manager to join our dynamic team and drive excellence across our projects.
About the Role
As a Construction Manager, you’ll be a key figure in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of construction activities. You’ll manage site teams, oversee safety systems, coordinate resources, and mentor apprentices, all while maintaining a tidy, well-run site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead site teams and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
* Monitor progress, quality, and workforce performance.
* Coordinate materials, plant, and equipment deliveries.
* Resolve site issues and implement improvements.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Line Management Duties
* Manage and mentor supervisory staff.
* Conduct appraisals and performance reviews.
* Support recruitment and onboarding.
* Plan workforce schedules and manage absences.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 5 or 6, SMSTS, PASMA, MEWPS for Managers.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory construction role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Commercial awareness and technical problem-solving ability.
* Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
