DT Teacher
First For Education are looking to recruit a talented and motivated Design Technology Teacher for a supportive secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and practical teacher who is passionate about inspiring pupils through innovative and hands-on learning.
You must hold a QTS to be considered for this position.
About the Role
* Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4
* Specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Food Technology are welcomed
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that encourage problem-solving and creativity
* Ensure a safe and organised workshop or classroom environment
* Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback to support progress
* Work collaboratively with a dynamic DT department
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology
* Confidence in delivering practical sessions safely and effectively
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A positive approach to supporting pupils of all abilities
* ECTs are welcome to apply
